Our age groups are designed to create safe, exciting, and developmentally appropriate experiences for everyone. By grouping guests based on key life stages, we ensure activities are tailored to different interests and abilities, while making it easier for families to plan and enjoy their weekend together.
Which Age To Book
You should book the age group that matches your child’s age at the time on the first day of the event you are attending. It is important that their age group is correct for safety, regulatory and insurance purposes.
You must not book children into an incorrect age group, even if you believe their developmental level is above or below their actual age.
You will be asked to enter your child’s date of birth as part of our enrolment system to confirm that they have the correct age ticket.
Adult (18+)
By creating a 100% family focussed experience where you participate in activities, games and entertainment together, we hope you can parent a little lighter for a weekend, relax into it and share some magical experiences with your kids.
For more details on how we make Camp Kindling easy for parents check out our Parent Friendly Initiatives.
Adult Favourites
Activities: favourites include Aerial Silks, Beekeeping, Blacksmithing, Stand Up Paddleboarding and Terrarium Making.
Games: you’ll be in your element in the giant tug of war or teaming up with little ones in hilarious wheelbarrow races.
Entertainment: throwback headliners mean your whole family partying to your favourite music (which is obviously the best music of all time) and parental comedy stars will have you laughing your socks off.
Adults Only Programme
We do not have any strictly adults only activities, games or entertainment, but you are welcome to participate in sessions without your kids if you wish to.
For some down time without any kids around, we recommend The Sanctuary. A tranquil adults only space nestled in a peaceful forest clearing with full spa and wellness facilities, it’s the perfect retreat to relax, recharge, and reconnect.
Adult Rules
Camp Kindling is a family experience, so adults must attend with children as a parent, guardian, grandparent, uncle, aunty or family friend. You cannot book or attend Camp Kindling as an adult-only group.
One adult can bring up to three children. You are responsible for their wellbeing throughout the weekend. You must actively supervise your children. While there are some drop-off sessions, Camp Kindling is not a childcare facility and you remain responsible for your kids at all times.
Youth (12–17)
Designed to encourage independence in a safe environment, Youths can explore Camp and participate in sessions unaccompanied during the daytime. They will love the mix of spending time independently, with family and with others in their age group; helping them build confidence and responsibility in a safe environment.
