Your tickets include a choice of over 100 activities!
Our Unique Enrolment System helps you create a custom schedule from your favourites, that excites everyone in your group and makes the most of every moment.
Most activities take place between 8am and 5pm, after that it’s time for Games and Entertainment.
The amount you can fit into your weekend will depend on the ticket type you choose, your energy levels and your interests but on average this is what you can expect.

Types
Credited Activities: use credits from your allowance to reserve a place. You must arrive at the start time and stay for the duration. You will not need to queue.
Drop-in Activities: do not use any credits and there are no reserved places. You can drop-in anytime you like. You may need to queue at peak times.
Credited Activities provide structure to your schedule with more in depth experiences, whilst Drop-in activities provide flexibility to fill every moment with magic.
Duration
Most Credited Activities have a duration of either 20, 50 or 80mins giving you 10mins in-between one ending and another starting.
Drop-in activities could take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours depending on how busy it is when you go and how long you choose to stay.
Locations
All activities take place on our beautiful private estate. Depending on the activity it could take place in the woodland, out in a field, along a trail or on the lake. Canvas shelter is provided for any activities that require it.
Capacities
Most Credited Activities have between 10 and 30 places per session, allowing for a high quality, in depth and engaging experience with the leaders.
Drop-in Activities have capacities anywhere between 1 and 100. They are either turn based where a limited number of people will be taking a turn at a time, or open capacities where the limit is how many people can fit in the space at one time.
Categories
Our programme is balanced across the following categories: Adventure & Sports, Arts & Crafts, Circus & Comedy, Bushcraft & Survival, Food & Drink, Fun & Games, Health & Wellbeing, Music & Dance, and Science & Engineering.
Skill Level
Most Activities are beginner-focussed and designed for trying something new. Where possible our expert instructors will tailor the experience for those seeking more of a challenge.
Safety
Activities are run by expert instructors with all relevant qualifications. Every activity undergoes rigorous safety assessments and inspections by health and safety officers and are fully insured. In the event of any accidents we have an extensive and fully qualified medical team and treatment facilities onsite.
Age Groups
Camp Kindling is all about parents and kids spending time together, building bonds and making memories. The majority of our activities are therefore designed for parents and kids to do together.
Our extensive range means that whatever your family make-up, every age group will have options to excite them.
You will probably spend most of your time doing things together as a family in sessions that cater to broad age ranges.
For something extra special it’s nice to spend some time in smaller units that are more focussed in age, utilising our Kids-only, Youth-only and Adults-only options.
Enrolment
Enrolment is the process of selecting and booking your activities, games, and entertainment ahead of arriving. You do this in your online account. It ensures you’re ready to dive straight into the fun as soon as you arrive.
Stage / Period | Time Before Camp | What Happens |
View-only Opens | 7 weeks | Sign in to your account on our website to explore hundreds of activities, games and entertainment options and mark your favourites. |
Priority Opens | 6 weeks | Dynamo ticket holders are able to enrol in sessions. |
Standard Opens | 5 weeks | Elementary and Standard ticket holders are able to enrol in sessions. |
Activity Credits
Every ticket to camp includes activity credits, which you use to enrol into credited activities.
90 credits is enough for most families to completely pack their weekend with activities! If you need more you can upgrade your tickets or buy additional credits at any time.
Credits have the same value for both adults and kids. They are for the holder of that ticket to use for themselves and cannot be pooled, transferred or shared.
To help determine how many credits you might need, you can use our interactive enrolment preview, or check out the table below.
These are example activities and credits based on the past 5 years. About 75% will be the same, but we like to change some to keep it exciting!

Activity Limits
Each person can only enrol into each Credited activity once. This encourages everyone to discover lots of new things, and helps keep it fair by ensuring places on popular activities are evenly distributed.
Activity Restrictions
Occasionally activities are restricted by height or weight in addition to age to meet safety requirements. Where there is an additional restriction in place it will be provided during Enrolment to ensure you can factor it into your planning.
Cancelled Sessions
It is rare for activity sessions to be cancelled, even during bad weather, but it can happen.
If a Credited activity session you are Enrolled in is cancelled you will be updated by email and SMS. The credits used for that activity will be returned to your balance.
