What do the different marketplace ticket types mean?
The ticket types on the marketplace are the same tiers as the main site — the difference is how many activity credits you get (all include the full weekend of adventure and entertainment):
Elementary — 60 activity credits. Good for a more relaxed weekend with a mix of activities and downtime.
Standard — 120 activity credits. The most popular option.
Dynamo — Unlimited activity credits, plus priority enrolment so you can book top activities before everyone else.
Important: On the marketplace, you can't choose which ticket type you're matched with — you receive whatever type the seller has listed. If you've been offered an Elementary ticket, that's what was available from the sellers in the pool. If you specifically want a Dynamo, your best bet is to stay on the waitlist and hope a Dynamo gets listed.
Can I upgrade my marketplace ticket?
Yes — you can upgrade your Marketplace ticket, but it needs a member of our team to amend the existing booking and take the price difference.
Just get in touch via the chat bubble and ask to speak to a person, and our human team will help you upgrade your order.
If I don't buy accommodation in a marketplace purchase, can I buy it later?
Yes — as long as there's still availability, you can add accommodation at any time after your marketplace purchase.
Just place a new accommodation order through the event page, choosing Book Extras and scrolling to the Accommodation section. Make sure you use the same email address as your original ticket booking so everything links under one account.
Worth knowing: General Campsite access (bring your own tent) is included with every ticket — so you only need to buy accommodation if you'd like something like a pre-pitched tent, boutique option, or similar upgrade.
Does my marketplace ticket include car parking?
No — car parking is always purchased separately, regardless of how you got your ticket.
It's £20 if booked online in advance, or £30 if you pay on arrival. This applies even if you're staying in the Boutique Campsite — parking still needs to be purchased separately.
Seller FAQs
I listed my ticket but haven't been matched yet
Your ticket is safely listed and will be included in matching from the moment the Marketplace opens on Thursday 28th May. If you listed before that date, there won't be any movement until matching goes live — but you're all set!
Keep an eye on your email from the 28th onwards — we'll notify you as soon as your ticket has been matched with a buyer.
I want to cancel / delist my listing
You can remove your listing at any time, as long as it hasn't been matched yet. Just head to My Tickets in your account, find the listed item, and follow the instructions to delist it. Once removed, the ticket returns to your account straight away.
If your ticket's status has moved to "Offered", it means it's been matched to a buyer and the 48-hour purchase window is underway — at that point we're not able to cancel the listing.
Why can't I list my ticket?
There are a few reasons this can happen:
Active or on-hold payment plan — you'll need to clear your outstanding balance before listing. You can pay this off early from your Orders page.
Ticket already transferred — tickets that have been transferred to someone else aren't eligible for listing.
Listing window closed — for some events, listing closes a certain number of days before the event date.
If none of those apply, drop us a message with your order number and we'll look into it.
Can I choose who buys my ticket?
No — the Marketplace matches automatically based on queue position, which keeps things fair for everyone. There's no way to direct your listing to a specific buyer.
If you'd like your ticket to go to a specific person (e.g. a friend), your best option is to delist it and arrange a private transfer instead — just get in touch and we can help.
Buyer FAQs
I joined the waitlist but haven't received an offer
A few possibilities:
Matching hasn't started yet — matching goes live on Thursday 28th May. If you joined before then, you're in the queue and ready to go.
Demand exceeds supply — there are currently more people on the waitlist than tickets available, so unfortunately not everyone will receive an offer. We match in queue order.
Check your spam folder — offer emails can sometimes get caught in filters.
I missed my offer window!
Sorry to hear that — we know how gutting it is!
Unfortunately, once an offer has expired we're not able to reinstate it. The good news is your waitlist entry remains active, so you're still in the running if more tickets get listed. The ticket was automatically re-offered to the next person in the queue. Keep a close eye on your inbox (and spam folder!) so you don't miss it next time.
Can I request specific ticket types or accommodation?
When joining the waitlist, you can tell us:
How many tickets you're looking for (up to 8 per request for Camp Kindling)
Accommodation preferences — if you need accommodation alongside your ticket, you can select your preferred type (live-in vehicle, boutique camping, reserved pitch, etc.). This is entirely optional.
The system will do its best to match you with listings that fit your request — but matches depend on what's available, so we can't guarantee a specific combination.
How do I know if my offer is real?
All genuine Marketplace offers come from Wildkind's official email channels. The offer page will always be on our website at /marketplace/[event]/offer/[id].
If you're ever unsure, the safest thing to do is log directly into your account at our website and check for active offers from there, rather than clicking a link in an email. If there's a legitimate offer waiting for you, it'll show up in your account.
If something looks suspicious, don't click any links and reach out to us straight away.
I joined multiple waitlist entries. Will that help?
Yes — you can have up to 5 active waitlist entries for the same event, and each one is matched independently, so having multiple entries does increase your chances of receiving an offer.
Bear in mind: if you receive and accept an offer on one entry, you'd want to cancel your remaining entries — otherwise you could end up matched on more than one!
