Hannah E.Hannah E. ★★★★★ It was our first time at camp kindling this year and it was an experience I will never forget! Our family of 5 had such wonderful weekend. When you first walk into the site the trees are lit up with feston lights, just the site itself is a magical place – it feels like a festival hidden in an enchanted forest. There’s so much to do – we were blown away by the variety of activities all in one place! Our favourites included tree climbing (complete with sofas high up in the branches!), grass sledging, aerial hoop, kickboxing, the climbing wall – and that’s just scratching the surface. There was something for every member of the family to get stuck into.In the evening the forest comes to life with music and entertainment, there was something for everyone, music, kids entertainers and comedy. I love the idea that every one gets a ‘patrol’ when they join and the atmosphere of the patrol games at the was fantastic. Overall it was a weekend to remember, full of fun and excitement, A truly magical place, I would definitely recommend!Jarrod C.Jarrod C. ★★★★★ Great event with a vibe like no other - return to your youth or simply go to partyThe team are brilliant and bring so much positive energy it’s all about the guest experience and they do everything they can to make sure the paying customer is looked after and has an amazing timeCan’t recommend this one enough it’s a different experienceWe hope to see you all again next yearFish & chips - donuts & waffles outletsBritish event cateringRoe G.Roe G. ★★★★★ It was our first time at Camp Kindling this year, and it was everything and more we thought it would be. It is pure magic. The forest it is so beautiful and there are so many amazing activities you can book into. There were also a lot of walk in activities so there was so much to do! The feeling there just felt so relaxed, the Co-founders Jules and Lee have really thought of everything. If I had to sum it up in one word… ‘Spectacular!’ We can’t wait to go back.Charlotte F.Charlotte F. ★★★★★ A great experience for me and my children. From the various activities to the evening patrol games, we had a blast! The evening entertainment was great, we enjoyed the comedians and the music 🎶Hannah W.Hannah W. ★★★★★ We’ve been wanting to do a festival as a family for a couple of years but I’ve always been really daunted by large crowded festivals and sure I would just spend the whole time worrying about the kids but Camp Kindling was just the perfect first festival with our boys who are 6 and 8.Not too big, Camp Kindling is set in a beautiful forest which feels lovely and calm, never overcrowded and cool in the heat. Full of adventures and fun for the whole family during the day and entertainment and music to party to by night. Our highlights were -- the beautiful wood fired hot tubs and sauna in the sanctuary spa and being able to leave your kids in a child only activity so Simon and I could enjoy this together.- the epic waterslide- the air drop- All the fantastic craft activities - flag making, cyanotype printing, screen printing t-shirts- The mountain boarding- The stunt classAll of the brilliant activities and entertainment are included in the ticket price so you don't have to worry about spending a fortune once you're there. The boys also loved joining the Badger patrol competing against the other 3 teams in the patrol games and collecting tokens over the weekend, such a great idea to get everyone connecting and this created such a great vibe.If you've ben thinking of doing a festival with your kids I would highly recommend this for families with kids of any ages but especially up to age 12/13. Everyone we met was super friendly so even as a solo parent this festival would be great. We had such a lush weekend , Camp Kindling, we’ll be back 💛Alex S.Alex S. ★★★★★ Our first year, Wonderful experience with the kids, great family atmosphere, clean utilities and felt in a safe environment with other families. Great for families with kids of all ages. Even celebrated my 40 there… already booked for next year 🙂Elena M.Elena M. ★★★★★ Awesome! Went ones and booked to come next year straight away! The best place for the families to be united with nature and family fun. Love it!Carly K.Carly K. ★★★★★ The most wonderful weekend every family should experience! We danced, we learnt new skills, we challenged ourselves, and most importantly we had the most amount of fun in one weekend ever! If you're thinking about - just do it. You won't regret it!Molly H.Molly H. ★★★★★ What can I say about Camp Kindling, it was incredible! By far the best place I have ever taken my children and tops any other holidays we have ever had! Why? Because it offers families a captivating outdoor retreat that caters to all age groups, providing an idyllic setting for multigenerational bonding and exploration of the natural world. Nestled in the countryside in Kent just 20 minutes from our home, this camp was the perfect destination to disconnect from screens and for my whole family to immerse ourselves in a diverse array of activities that promote unity, personal development, and a chance to embrace the simplicity of life outdoors. We stayed in the Boutique Camping which was equipped with clean showers and toilets with no queues making it perfect for families with little ones. It also had a pampering tent providing a place to dry and straighten my hair, do my make up and even charge my phone!Camp Kindling's activities were carefully curated to accommodate a variety of interests and ages. From traditional outdoor pursuits like hiking and campfires to tailored workshops on wilderness survival skills and family-friendly nature crafts, the camp ensured that every family member found an activity to cherish. Knowledgeable instructors lead these engaging experiences, infusing each session with enthusiasm and expertise. We enjoyed all the activities we took part in and the majority of these were drop-ins but with no queues! The boys were kept busy all day long, they enjoyed zorbing, nerf gun wars, rock climbing wall, crazy golf, mask and flag making, the water slide, t-shirt making and a scavenger hunt! All of which were included in the price, making Camp Kindling great value for money.A standout highlight of Camp Kindling was its focus on building family bonds! Through team challenges and interactive games, as a family we had the opportunity to discover the joys of working together. The camp's supportive environment encouraged each family member to step beyond our comfort zone, cultivating newfound skills and boosting self-confidence all while deepening our connection with the natural environment. In our party we had people aged between 4 and 68!The entertainment don’t stop in the evening, the evening was packed with entertainment including games and discos! The best bit being that the music was music that the adults could enjoy too.Camp Kindling provided a wide variety of different foods to try and every place we ate from was so so good!Overall, Camp Kindling (situated in Kent) is the perfect place to enable you to create an enriching and memorable outdoor experience with the whole family! With a mix of nature-inspired activities, skilled instructors, and a strong focus on family bonding, the camp offers families an exceptional opportunity to create lasting memories, strengthen relationships, and enjoy the great outdoors providing a break from screens. We will 100% be coming back next year!Nicola D.Nicola D. ★★★★★ We attended in 2025 for our 4th year and made some wonderful memories as a family. The booking system worked better than in previous years and the activities ran smoothly throughout the weekend, and we did most things we wanted. There just isn’t time to do absolutely every activity, there is literally so much going on across the camp. It’s a lovely atmosphere with families everywhere just enjoying time with kids and having fun. We were doing around 25k steps a day!My youngest is coeliac and there was ample food for her at base camp, really beautifully cooked but killed my pocket! £17 for GF quiche with a tiny side salad for a child. The camp fire was great for toasting marshmallows and the activities all around were fantastic. We did lots of activities and so many were great:Beading was terrific as always, and the skateboarding guys were so patient with the kids. Woodland theatre was amazing as was African Harmonies; singing with other families under the tree canopy, beautiful.Aerial is always great, and capture the flag is a winner. One of the best things we do is the family yoga, it fosters great connection and memories. The acts were very, very poor in comparison to previous years but the Clubhouse made up for it with the carnival party.Much more Londoners than in previous years, and more families with under 5s rather than tweens, which meant wagons everywhere.Overall it’s a dream weekend and you will definitely get out what you put in. We left with happy hearts and souls and will remember our Camp Kindling experiences forever.Hannah W.Hannah W. ★★★★★ Had an incredible time at camp kindling with my 3 year old! He absolutely loved it and we made so many core memories together!Safiyah K.Safiyah K. ★★★★★ We had the most incredible time at Camp Kindling’s 5th anniversary! It was a truly magical weekend packed with over 100 activities, live DJs, bands, comedians, and storytelling. There was never a dull moment — my kids were completely absorbed from morning to night, running from one adventure to the next with huge smiles on their faces. The atmosphere was electric, with so much creativity and energy everywhere you turned. From dancing to live music under the stars to sharing laughs at the comedy shows, every moment felt special. The kids had a wicked time making new friends, trying new things, and creating memories that will stay with them for a lifetime. It’s rare to find an event that blends fun for children and adults so seamlessly, but Camp Kindling nailed it. We left with tired feet, full hearts, and a promise that we’ll be back next year.js_loader
