Shelf
SHELF
Two childhood friends, lots of songs and plenty of silliness. Shelf make comedy the whole family can laugh at together.
Shelf are a comedy double act made up of childhood friends Rachel WD and Ruby Clyde. They write and perform for adults and children, blending standup with musical comedy and sketch. Their live shows have been cult hits at the Edinburgh Fringe, transferred to Soho Theatre and toured internationally.
They are also founders of the comedy collective The LOL Word. As Chortle put it: “Impossible not to have fun in their company”.
Because Shelf write for children as well as grown-ups, their shows work for the whole family. Expect songs, sketches and quick-fire standup, with laughs pitched for kids and parents alike. Find a spot together, settle in and enjoy watching everyone giggle at the same jokes.
