Youth Meet-Up

The Youth Meet-Up is a social for campers aged 12 to 17 at Camp Kindling, sometimes known as the Firestarters Social. It's a no-parents, no-kids zone to hang out and make friends before the weekend kicks off, or to catch up with the friends you made before.

Expect a DJ playing music just for you and some games with our Firestarter team if you're up for it. There's no pressure to join in, so dance, chat or just hang out.

Sometimes there's a chilled-out area set aside for you to take over, so you can plan your own unofficial youth hang-outs for the weekend.

As with the rest of Kindling, it's a safe, friendly and no-judgement zone. Parents sign their teens out at the end of the session, and everyone is welcome to come and enjoy it.
