Climb to our highest branch and ring the Cowbell of victory, scale the Chesterfield sofa for the best seat in or out of the house, hang out in a Sky-Pod tree tent, or swing around the wondrous canopy of our mighty climbing Beech to find out what other surprises are waiting up there.

Tie Dye
Produce your own tie-dye creation with fashion designers. All dyes and equipment are provided. Bring a cotton garment to upcycle or purchase a t-shirt on site.
Trampolining
Can’t remember your seat drop from your full twist or your tuck jump from your pike? Then maybe it’s time to jump back on our (OLYMPIC STANDARD) trampolines and put that spring back in your step! Our expert coaches will give you a bouncy cardiovascular workout, scientifically proven to be good for you!
Terrarium Making
Join us to make your own miniature self-watering garden in a glass jar. Learn the history of Terrariums, how to care for them and the ideal plants to fill them with. You will be provided with everything you need to create your own little ecosystem, we will have a range of plants for you to choose from including Fittonia, Ivy and Moss, as well as a sealable glass jar with a cork lid. We will guide you through creating your own Terrarium which will be all yours to take home at the end of the session.
You will leave with a care guide for your terrarium, a bag to take it away in and all the info you need to make more terrariums in the future!
Stunts
Learn how to recreate your favourite action movie chase scene on our new stunt rig, complete with airbag. We are bringing new levels of fun; jumping, falling, dodging, vaulting, climbing, balancing and of course flips and tricks throughout every workshop.

Stop Motion Animation
The animation technique behind some of the world’s best loved films, like Wallace & Gromit, Nightmare Before Christmas and Fantastic Mr Fox. You will be taught how to storyboard and create your own short film using modelling clay and other materials, in front of a green screen or your own created backdrop.
Space Science
Explore the universe in our weird and wonderful hands-on astronomy workshop covering topics ranging from why astronauts aren’t burnt up on re-entry to the earth’s atmosphere and what a toilet roll has to do with the solar system to extracting DNA from martian soil samples and viewing the surface of the sun. Extract DNA, handle meteorites and learn to safely look at the sun through a telescope.

A perfect, sheltered space for those little ones where they can enjoy hours of soft play and have a party in the party dome!
Screen Printing
Learn expert screen printing techniques whilst printing your own Kindling shirt in support of your patrol!
Scavenger Hunt
You’ll need the eyes of a hawk, the stealth of a squirrel, the stubbornness of a badger and the wiley skills of a fox to scavenge all the hidden goodies in order to win this woodland hunt.
Sand Pit
Come and build castles and frolic in the sand!
Rifle Shooting
Shooting at 15-20 metre targets with 177 break barrel rifles, open and telescopic sights.
Quad Biking
Drive around the beautiful Wildkind Forest paths on a quad bike. Ride through the different terrains and prepare to get muddy as you ride a pre-set oval circuit between 400 and 500 metres around Camp.
Primitive Pottery
Join us on a journey through the ancient process of making primitive clay pots and other clay items, like beads and pendants.
Pennant Flag Making
Make your very own one-of-a-kind Camp souvenir – a beautiful felt pennant to hang on your wall. Using felt (and templates, if you need) you can cut and compose shapes and text to form your own motto, Patrol mantra or motif to remember your time at Camp Kindling. (20 people can join at a time).

Onewheel
The UK premiere workshop of this incredibly exciting new equipment from the USA. Be one of the first people ever on this island to try this futuristic board, not too dissimilar to the hoverboards from Back to the Future. Learn the basics of how to balance and manouvre on the board before making your way around a course on the field.
Nerf Battles
Enjoy the thrill and slide your way to victory in an epic multiplayer Nerf battle experience, set across a vast battlefield. Tag your opponents and get that victory royal!

Put your mountain biking agility to test over our obstacle course, to prepare you for a real mountainous adventure. Our instructors will help guide you and teach you new skills and tricks on these top of the range mountain bikes.
Mountain Boarding
An exciting new addition for 2023! Imagine snowboarding, but on a grassy hill with 4×4 wheeled boards. Learn the basics on gentle slopes and if you pick it up fast, you can work your way up to trying ramps and tricks!

Want to really show off your Patrol dedication? Whether you’re a Badger, Squirrel, Fox or Hawk, our mask making workshops will help you transform yourself into your spirit animal ready for the night’s wild woodland parties. Our crafty leaders will be on hand to help you get creative in personalising your design. (20 people can join at a time).
Junkyard Percussion
Join one of the cast of the amazing stage show STOMP! to learn how to turn a big pile of junk into an epic percussion orchestra! All ages and abilities can learn drumming techniques and a variety of exciting rhythms. Sustainable creativity at it’s loudest and most joyful.
Kite Building
Why do kites fly and how can we make them fly even better? By learning about the forces which create flight and how to use the right materials. By the end of this session you will all know why a kite needs a Bridle Point, Cross Spar and Tail, and you will learn how to find its centre of gravity. Put all this learning together into making a great kite design of your own to fly in the fields.
Flower Headdress
Learn how to arrange a natural headdress. All materials are provided in your own personal little kit but you are welcome to forage for any materials (flowers, pine cones, leaves, twigs etc) beforehand that you can’t live without in your headdress!
Cyanotypes
An historic photographic process, where two chemicals are mixed together to make an emulation that turns Prussian blue in contact with sun light. Participants will coat their own papers and scraps of card before choosing botanicals and objects. Once the paper is dry, then will place their chosen objects on the coated paper, put it in the sun and watch the colour change. Finally, the print is rinsed in water to fix it.
