Jungle Painting & Animal Disco

JUNGLE PAINTING & ANIMAL DISCO
Paint a giant jungle with little hands, leaves and sticks, then stomp, roar and wiggle at the animal disco. Your tots will have a wild time.
Jungle Painting & Animal Disco is a creative play session for the youngest campers. Little ones make a giant jungle scene together with hand-painting, leaves, sticks and more, then dance, sing and play their way through a jungle-themed disco. It's a drop-off session run by an Activity Leader, so your tots have a wild time while you have a breather.
Nature painting swaps some of the brushes for things you can find outdoors. A leaf pressed into paint makes a perfect print of its veins. A stick can be a brush, a stamp or a way to drag swirly lines. Pine cones roll out bumpy patterns, and feathers leave soft, wispy marks.
Hand-painting is the other star of the show. Little palms and fingers make leaves, trees, snakes and animal prints, and a row of painted handprints can quickly turn into jungle grass or a family of elephants. For toddlers, it's all about the feel of the paint and the joy of making a mark.
An animal disco is a dance party where music meets make-believe. Children stomp like elephants, slither like snakes, hop like frogs and swing their arms like monkeys. Freeze games, where everyone stops still when the music pauses, are a classic. So is singing along to songs with actions. It's joyful, noisy and a brilliant way for little ones to let off steam after all that painting.
Yes, it's made with them in mind. Messy painting is a lovely way for young children to explore colour, texture and their senses, and many find it completely absorbing. Dancing and pretending to be animals helps them move, listen and use their imaginations. Working on one big jungle together also gives them a proud, shared moment when they see what they've made.
Dress your child in clothes that can get paint on them, and pack everything they might need while you're away. Sunscreen, a spare set of clothes, a drink and a snack are all good ideas. Let the Activity Leader know about any allergies and anything that helps your child feel settled.
DO PARENTS STAY FOR JUNGLE PAINTING & ANIMAL DISCO?
No. It's a drop-off session, so your child plays with the Activity Leader while you take a break.
IS IT SAFE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN?
It's a low-risk session, but paint is for painting, not eating. Do not let children put paint, leaves or sticks in their mouths. Tell the Activity Leader about any allergies or sensitive skin before the session starts.
WILL MY CHILD GET MESSY?
Very likely. Dress them in clothes you don't mind getting paint on, and pack a spare set.
WHAT IS AN ANIMAL DISCO?
It's a dance party where children move like different animals to music, with songs, actions and freeze games.
